Dan O'Shea is a retired U.S. Navy SEAL Commander and recognized expert in hostage rescue, counterinsurgency, and unconventional warfare. He served as the Hostage Working Group Coordinator at the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad, Iraq, from 2004-2006 and currently serves as a geopolitical/military analyst for major media outlets. He has extensive experience in asymmetric warfare, counterinsurgency, and unconventional warfare.Graduated from the United States Naval Academy (1991) and holds an MS in Executive Leadership from the University of San Diego.Dan is also the co-founder of the 5 Kilometer Tampa Bay Frogman Swim, a charity that supports the Navy SEAL Foundation and families of those men who have given their lives in defense of our freedom.
